The characters from the newest series devised by the brilliant CLAMP have finally arrived in Italy, and in their finest form: a double animated film! Realized by Production I.G, the film of xxxHOLiC was released in Japanese cinemas in 2005, enjoying incredible success. In the cinemas it was presented together with another special movie dedicated to the Tsubasa Chronicle. The mysterious and fascinating dimensional witch Yuko Ichihara is able to grant any wish: but to do so, you must give her something in return. Take the young Watanuki for example: we don’t quite know how, but he is able to see the ghosts which, having picked up on this phenomenon, are always around him, tormenting him. When he finds Yuko’s house one day, he asks he to help him and the woman agrees, on the condition that the boy becomes her servant for a while, to help her not only with the housework but also with the many and mysterious cases she deals with. Such as that of a young woman who, despite the fact she has a key, is no longer able to get into her house. And so it will be up to Yuko and Watanuki, with the help of Domeki, one of Watanuki’s school friends, to investigate this mysterious house! Tsubasa Chronicle, on the other hand, takes us into a distant world where the young Syaoran and the princess Sakura, together with the warrior Kurogane and the sorceress Fay D. Flourite, will have to deal with a crazed king who wants to destroy his own kingdom. Opposing him is also the young princess of the kingdom of Tomoyo, but will they really be able to stop what is happening? Perhaps yes, if the witch Yuko comes to their aid! A special edition for the two films, dubbed in Rome with an exceptional cast and released in two elegantly packaged DVDs. As well as numerous extras on the two discs, including various interviews, special images and a commentary on the entire film by the main actors involved in the dubbing, the package also includes an exclusive 176-page book in colour and black and white, with many preparatory drawings created to produce these two films!
